Thomas S. Stroll Memorial Park is an Overland Park family park that is perfect for families.
Here you can walk on trails, relax by the pond and enjoy all of the beautiful flower gardens that are scattered throughout this Overland Park KS park.
This Overland Park Kansas park was opened to the public in 1954 after being donated to the community by Thomas Stroll's wife Mary Lou Stroll in honor of her late husband.
The Overland park family park, Roe Park is perfect for your family's next Overland KS outing!
Roe Park offers two ponds that you can fish at and also has a volleyball court where you can play some friendly games with the whole family.
This Overland Park KS park also has a baseball field and two playgrounds and it’s a great place to spend a sunny Kansas afternoon.
The Overland park family park, Kensington Park is a great Overland KS place to spend an afternoon with your kids.
Kensington Park is an 11.5-acre neighborhood park centrally located near 127th and Switzer with many recreational activities.
There are two playgrounds in this Overland Kansas City area, as well as benches and picnic tables where you can sit down for lunch or dinner after all the playtime!
Tennis courts are open during park hours on a first-come, first serve basis.
There is no fee to use them.
Quivira Park is a 44.3-acre community park conveniently located at 119th and Quivira, yet serenely set right along Indian Creek and the bike/hike trail.
Sand volleyball courts at City parks are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The courts at Quivira Park can be reserved for $10 an hour, plus a $5 permit fee. Call 913-895-6390 to make a reservation.
Quivira Park Overland Park Kansas KS park also has a great playground for the kids to play on.
South Lake Park offers one of the best Overland KS fishing spots around!
This Overland Park area is popular with anglers and birds alike. There are Overland Park KS trails for running and walking as well as a playground.
South Lake Park is a 14-acre community park with plenty of space for outdoor activities, including fishing, a playground, a loop-trail and areas to relax in the shade.
In June of 2018, Overland Park installed its first floating wetland project to improve the water quality of South Lake and eliminate harmful algal blooms.
Floating marshes will be built in South Lake to improve water quality and safety, allowing for better fishing and recreational activities. Keep an eye on the progress of this project at South Lake Park.
While I-Lan Park isn’t technically in Overland Park, it was worth making the list.
I-Lan Park is in Leawood, which is just a stones throw from south Overland Park.
Overland Park KS is a very popular place to live and I-Lan park has been added as part of an initiative in Leawood to be more family friendly.
The 10 acre I-Lan Park opened in 2014 and offers many amenities such as: sand volleyball courts, softball fields, playgrounds, walking trails and even a pavilion with grills.
