Tell us a little bit about yourself (family, job, sports, interests, etc.)Grew up in Utah, oldest of four. Moved here about six years ago for work. Im a senior buyer at the Buckle. I help pick the mens product assortment and work with the west coast and action sports brands to develop and design exclusive product for our stores. Not a big sports guys- way too clumsy for that and friends will verify it. Love to travel, be outside- especially by water, cook and try different food. What was your workout routine before CrossFit?I worked out most days in a regular chain gym and had a trainer twice a week. But have always been pretty active. Growing up in Utah we did a lot of outdoor stuff like mountain biking and hiking. What did you think after your first CrossFit workout?I remember being really sweaty and worried about how sore I would be.What were your goals when joining CrossFit? Have you achieved any of those goals?I didn’t really come in with super specific goals. I more or less wanted to learn the movements and see how it went. As ive gotten more confident, the goals to learn how to do more difficult movements or increase weight on certain lifts has become a focus. In general, i always want to get bigger and leaner and have had both at different times. Seems like those goals are more of a moving target.
